Fair Housing Survey

The City of Hanford Asks Residents (Homeowners and Renters) to Complete a Fair Housing Survey for Potential Community Development Funds.

The City of Hanford receives funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to prepare an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (AI). The City requests citizens who are homeowners or renters to complete the fair housing survey using the links below:   (English) (Spanish)

Federal law defines fair housing impediments as discrimination in the sale or rental of housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin. The City of Hanford is administering this survey to review its residents' experience, directly or indirectly, with any of these impediments in attaining housing within the City. Please take a few minutes to fill out this online survey and your answers will be kept confidential. Your participation will assist the City of Hanford to establish a plan for improving opportunities for fair housing choice. Please press submit when complete. Thank You!

Completed surveys must be submitted by March 1, 2019 to be considered in the study.
